No — a PPS number is not generated until 14 days after a birth is registered, so it is not possible for a PPS number to feature on a birth certificate, even a replacement copy.
To get a copy of your PPS number you will need identification, which in most cases will be a birth certificate plus photo ID such as a passport. PPS numbers only came into effect after 1971, so there is a criteria to those who have been issued with one:
- You were born in Ireland in or after 1971
- You started work in Ireland after 1979
